Keep your self in comfort

         Self is our answer to the very basic question “who am I ” which an individual normally ask to him/her -self whenever a person in somewhat dilemma and feel complexity to the situation, which is demanding, confusing, threatening for the organism. Answers of the question (who I am) not only help us to come above the situation with a creative solution, it also helps in the development of better understanding, acceptance between organism and extrinsic environment factor. This understanding opens the ways to congruence, improved level of satisfaction, adjustment and so on.
                                                   How one can able to find the answer to the question “who I am.” The irony is that there is not convenient and perfect prescription is available until now. However, this is the very basic questions of life, since from beginning human beings trying to answer this question and philosophy of life as human evolve define, explained, experimented very significantly. Result of this process is that now we have enriched theories available that facilitate an individual to explain who he/she is.
                        As we know that on this earth, every individual is unique, who have a very distinctive organism, experiences, interaction with the environment. How we can, assume that past explanation and theories able to provide perfect elucidation to the quest of “who I am.” The earlier definition no doubt able to provide significant help and explicit understanding, but they do not provide core key, that open all locks and lead us to full clear understanding about ourselves.
                  For the accurate answer of the quest “who I am” individual him/ her-self have to go ahead and take the lead role. The vigil look on the everyday experience, make the way that unveils the uncountable layers that make our self and lead us where we can able a see the element of self clearly, gradually we able to observe the difference, among other and ourselves. 
In the beginning clear understanding of interest, abilities, liking, disliking, comfort, and satisfaction level can play a very significant role. After that, more fragile and subtle but critical aspect emerge and individual able to move on the track that, lead to the answer of the major question” who I am”.
                         According to Indian philosophy of life those, who are able to answer this question move towards the higher stage called, enlightenment, modern psychology gave this stage the self-actualization, fully functioning person (Rogers, Maslow). One cannot reach the enlightenment, self- actualization, suddenly or in one day, for reaching one had to travel a long fragile and suitable path, require extreme discipline aspiration, on the path, which demands self-generated discipline, courage.
             How are can reach that level of self-discipline, will and aspiration to grow is long, process and development process, environment, play a significant role?

                        Self-observation leads to self-knowledge
                        Self-knowledge leads to self-discipline
                        Self- discipline leads to self-control
                        Self –control leads to self-growth development
                        Self-growth leads to higher-order hierarchy need
  
 By answering these questions, a beginning can be made through

v   What uniqueness I have?
v   What weakness and strength I have?
v   Acceptation, of uniqueness, enhancement.
v   What irritates me create discomfort in my inner.
v   What are the resource that increases my happiness and comfort?
v   Identification of the resource hinders my comfort.
v   What is the change I make in Environment, and lifestyle to increase internal comfort zone,

Uniqueness I have; every individual is unique to others on this earth. They are not only distinctive in the physical aspect, but also in psychological, emotional, motivational, interaction with environment, abilities, and attitude. This uniqueness provides a base to personality and constraint to the organism. According to this uniqueness, an individual must be offered the best facilities to evolve fully. Parents and teachers who bear the responsibilities and take care of the uniqueness of the child must accept the uniqueness in whole. Early identification of unique traits of personality is going to be one of the key milestone, which paves the way to a healthy developmental process. Generally, parents and teacher are not able to identify the unique traits of child personality and they follow the conventional process that is given high value by the culture. The outcome of this process is that neither the teacher nor the parents know the, what actually the child required and in the long run child uniqueness is bifurcated in two branches in which ones real and ideal self. The real self which an individual is according to his/her uniqueness and ideal self is learned which is formed during the developmental process and the child wanted to ought to be. The satisfaction and adjustment in life depend on the congruence between real and ideal self. Therefore, it is the responsibilities of both they try to limit the gap between two self.

Weakness and strength (capacities)  For the development of healthy self-concept, one has to develop the habit of working fully according to his/her capacities. Any person who intentionally effortless below capacities or there is a significant difference between capacities and executions. In future, this difference will be going to develop many ambiguities in behaviour and if this discrepancy increase, this will going to induce fear factor in life, this fear will develop inferiority complexes, the low feeling of self-efficacy and in long run may develop phobias. In the gap of capacities and executions, intentionally word is very significant if the individual intentionally effortless to accomplish a task than only above stated adverse effect in behaviour will emerge. However, if the individual does not know his / her capacities or because lack of self –confidence accomplishes fewer tasks than the individual must seek counsellor help. The counsellor will help him/her to know the true capacities and then guide the individual in the development of the tendency to work according to the full extent. Once the tendency is developed and it becomes the part of individual personality, value system, individual receive internal motivation to work according to full capacities. The effort provides success, recognition and chance to further development, the satisfaction of other psychological need. The satisfaction of need aspire to go for the achievement of higher-order need, this has a positive effect on self, individual self grows fully and achieve the level of self-actualization.
As school are working for the all-round personality development of the child and enhancement of his/her capacities. For the school’s it is necessary to aware the child about the child true capacities and inculcates the values the habit, internalization of these values that keep the spark burning at the time of the challenge. 

Following are the main step, which must be initiated in every school
  • Assessment and appraisal of every student’s psychological physical, emotional capacities.
  • Healthy and safe environment
  • Opportunities to excel according to capacities
  •  Success experience to every student according to his/her individuality.
  • Rewarding the positive value
  •  Importance to working according to full capacities

Meaning of Peace................Our Peace
Human life is like a sea wave. It fluctuates from minute to minute. It has its own rise and fall & power and limitation, we live in the World that is based on the principle of fittest the best. Every creature wanted to express and improve his or her skill and desire. This phenomenon creates stress, tension and a state of hollowness. We wanted to achieve the maximum in this materialistic world so that we able to enjoy and have a sigh of peace, however, our journey continues but peace remains elusive to us. In the end, we may end where is nothing only complete darkness is there, we need a balance in our internal and external world, we have to give value and focus to our internal world, which is base of our external self and persona. In today’s scenario balancing life and way of living in peace. This is the balance between resources and desires materialism and spiritualism, humanity and development. Through peace education, we wanted to aspire our student to bring certain values in their attitude, which bring balance in their life. The concept of peace remain by and large has remained an elusive concept which has many interpretations ranging from simple as the absence of war or conflict (These conflicts are external & internal both) as the ability to cope with it starts from our within. In general, peace has also been associated with peace of mind or inner peace throughout the ages. Lord Buddha propounded the concepts of peace and said that mind is the ''forerunner of all the things''.
This is peace. abbreviated meaning of peace is: -

Education for peace

Education is not merely acquiring the skill of reading, writing and doing some arithmetic work. It is the manifestation of our inner to outer. Here inner means our vital (emotion), mental, physical. That makes our personality, brings elements of uniqueness, individuality in a creature and enlightened us. According to our Educationists, education is the process of developing, purifying and the unification of this inner. But the question which  I am raising here that, is our present system and its functioning serving meaningfully. Are our teachers know the process of psychic development, the inner peace, the value and self-development required for this noble cause and the answer is that our present education system is not qualitative enough. It is lacking behind both in attitude and aptitude for doing the noble work of inner development and it is not showing required aspiration. It is true that in the last 70 year we improve a lot in every aspect. Today we have a greater number of Scientists, Doctors, and Engineers etc than ever before. Our literacy rate is going up, we have more graduate but today our quality is not improving. Our young graduates are not even able to fight the struggle of their own life. Their self-esteem and self-confidence inner self is lost somewhere. This fact shows we are lacking behind in the development of wisdom for self and identity. What we are teaching is only knowledge aspect and knowledge is the only information of facts. It is our wisdom, which is, enlightened us to use the information (knowledge) in the development of our inner self, style of life, well feelingness of our own and our fellow being. It teaches us and brings discipline in life.
But our present education system is not giving adequate importance to psychic part of education. It is not even the center of attention. This resulted that we have lost enjoyment of learning. The learning process and school environment both have become a burden for a child. That snatches his childhood, they start feeling tension and anxiety on the inner self. When our coming generation not feeling enjoyment even in learning how can they enjoy their work. How can we bring work culture and dignity for work?  Situations become more critical for a little kid. When he faced an interview even for taking admission in first class. Our college generation is facing stiff challenges and competition in this GPL age. But they do not know their inner, their own self; they are wandering like a Kite without the sting. They don’t know where to go, which way to walk. What is their aim in life? They are not able to decide what they have to choose for their lively hood. Today’s generation aim of life is only concentrated with lively hood. Only earning money, doing some work for the lively hood is not being called the real aim of life. If today’s education is not able to answer or bring the quality in a student that he can confidently decide what he has to do. How can they able to search true aim of life, how they can grow their conscious, how they can bring goodness on this earth. If our generation is undecided on basic matter and confused. Is this way we are going to develop.
Emotional Aspect
 After that, I am talking about emotional manifestation. Is today’s education system caring emotion our vital? Are we teaching them emotion management, how to control and enhance our emotional energy?  the answer to these questions is no. Some factual knowledge may be given under the umbrella of moral education. But we are failed to develop adequate wisdom in our children because here our technique and its deliverance both are wrong. The failure of the emotional aspect of education, clearly visible in our students’ day-to-day activities and in life. They are not able to manage themselves this resulted in exam stress and anxiety. Every year hundreds of students attempt suicide. If our generation can not able to face and challenge. How they can able to face the struggle of life. The result is before as our youth is wasting their time and energy in cheap fun. Their relationship is not good even in the family. Parents seeking counsellor help. The challenges of drug addiction Aids, the growing graph of criminal activities before us if we wanted to change our society we have to think about emotion education also.
The Physical Aspect Of Education
The physical aspect of the education system Although it true that we have a full subject on physical education some sports activities also going on in school curriculum. But we are not able to teach the essence of true health. Heath of our students is weaker than ever before we need practical work e.g. yoga, meditation, and also a scientific way of making nutritious food.
Solution
Till now I discussed only the dark side. The darkness before dawn but where is dawn. How can we bring change, a positive change? The first point I can make here that we do not need new basic or structure or angelic work for improvement. We have to just re-determine our priorities and starts looking at the inner development of human. We need peace and psychic base of our education. Today the biggest aim of the country and the individual is to live peacefully and man of awareness. The answer to all these educational problems laying in this quest. We have to just arouse this quest make this aspiration of the inner heart then create a peaceful environment in school. Here peaceful environment means that kind of environment infrastructure, which aspire peace value in our students some formal setting also required. Psychic development of individual also required because psychic education first helps us to observe self, then self-control lead self-improvement. When our inner self is improved our outer self also improve our emotional, mental, physical automatically starts improving. It is like a burning flame in a corner of the room then the whole surrounding starts brightening.
For this peace and psychic education, we need a peaceful and psychic improved teacher because the teacher has a significant role in moulding the attitude of children during the school stage orienting them to peace and their inner psychic self. To develop skill and attitude among teacher and their self-improvement. We need real and practical training of in-service teacher and structural changes in the course of teaching education

                     Present education system endeavour for the all-round and holistic development of future generation. Human development is a process which starts from the conception of the child, continue until the end of life. According to a lifespan perspective, it is a lifelong multidimensional, multidirectional, plastic, historical embedded contextual, multidisciplinary process (Paul Baltes 1987). Development of the individual (child) is threatened by many factors including socioeconomic, biological, environmental influence and occurrence of non-normative life events (an unusual occurrence) such as the death of the parents when a child is young, major accidents, severe illness. Nonnormative development also includes positive occurrences such as winning a lottery or unique career opportunity etc.
             School a very crucial institution in child life, subsequent to home play very decisive role in the development of the child where child experience the miniature of the world, learn the basic skills such as reading writing, communication, problem-solving, logical reasoning, scientific viewpoint and so on. In school child interaction with teachers, peer group all have to affect all aspect of child personality.  
 The complexity of modern life had given birth to new challenges that generate hazard in the holistic development of the child. The result is the student of different age groups are facing many adjustmental, developmental, mental-health problem due to stress, anxiety caused by the enigma of new age demands. Students are not alien to these problems we can categorize these problems in the following way:
Developmental disorder: Disorder which appears to result from a blockage or Impairment in the developmental process e.g., visual impairment, Hearing impairment ortho-medical problem, Enduring, sickness, injuries and accidents.

Disorder of emotional distress; A set of disorder in which child internalize the threat object in other world conflict is turned inward and the child himself herself is the major victim e.g.   School Phobia, Avoidant Disorder stress 
 Anxiety disorder (separation anxiety, overanxious disorder)

Habit Disorder; It involves the disruption of eating sleeping.  they often occur in the context of other disorder e.g. eating disorder involve: obesity, Anorexia nervosa, Bulimia
Elimination disorder; Enuresis, Encopresis
Sleep disorder; somnambulism, insomnia

Learning Disability; Learning disability is a problem involving difficulties, in central processing dysfunction with a disorder or in or inefficiencies in the reception, analysis synthesis and symbolic use of information e.g. dyslexia, dyscalculia, 

Communication disorders; It involve any kind of complexity in the development of communication abilities of child Delayed speech, stuttering

Mental Retardation: Mental retardation refers to significantly subaverage general intellectual functioning existing concurrently with a deficit in adaptive Behaviour and manifested during the developmental period, it may be mild, moderate, severe or profound.(AAMAR)
